Clara Mutongi is the founder and CEO of Dream Reality Works, an event management company based in Nairobi. She created Dream Reality Works in 2015 after realizing an unmet gap in the events management space. Her firm got its first customers in 2016.

Kenneth Ndiragu is a professional chef who has perfected the art of preparing choice meals. He is a chef at Lemon Grass Kitchen in Nairobi. He started it in the year 2012. Lemon Grass Kitchen is a whole new version of Kenyan restaurants. You can get cooking classes from this restaurant for all manner of dishes. Kenneth decided to start this operation to provide Kenyans with a variety of foods they can enjoy. He teaches them how to make foods they only find in restaurants using affordable ingredients.

Sally Kamenge is a Burundi national based in Nairobi, Kenya. She has been in the beauty industry for more than 5 years. She ventured into the business in 2016 after seeing many people doing their make-up wrongly.

Beryl Munyui is a former veterinary doctor turned interior and exterior designer. She uses old tires and transforms them into beautiful furniture pieces. She retains the tires’ original form and shape. She also uses other recyclable materials such as steel to make ‘tree branches’.

Erick Muriithi, popularly known as ‘Sticky’, is a media technology graduate who works in the creative industry. He runs an art studio at the Railway Museum. He started working at the Railway Museum in the year 2015. He is currently based at Karen Village.

Sokowatch was launched in Kenya in the year 2015 by Daniel Yu. It has since expanded to Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda. Sokowatch was created to provide business owners and entrepreneurs with smooth and easy access to essential goods and services.

Solar Kiosk was founded in 2011 by Andreas Spiess and GRAFT Architects. Its first projects were implemented in Kenya and Ethiopia. Solar Kiosk Kenya then went on ahead to partner with Total Kenya in 2015 and released the SOLAR KIOSK E-HUBB. E-HUBB is a modular solar-powered structure that can easily be implemented in remote areas.

Davis Nyamari studied at Bowling Green State University in the U.S. He Stayed in the U.S. for a period of about 9 to 10 years. While in the U.S. he got the idea to reinvent Kenya’s advertising methods. When he came back to Kenya, he founded Meelin Media Limited, an advertising company.

Njeri Kimata was a student at Kenyatta University pursuing a bachelor’s Degree in Education and Arts. While there she developed a knack for business. She began by marketing products for her friends. She then realized she had potential in entrepreneurship. Her first business venture was selling female undergarments to her fellow students and residents of the area. After doing well in this venture she began another business of selling bags. She has been doing so ever since.
